Im a good role model, you know?: grumpy

Sometimes i see my friends being dumb, i just cant help but sad for them.

Case 1:

I was playing my psp in lecture hall last week. when a lecture hall mate walked pass and saw me playing and he asked "wow, you've got a gold PSP?" the same breathe he used like he was saying "wow, you are being cast as the new character on HEROES?"

i said "yepp. just got it some time ago, quite long already la"

he then said "wah, very nice leh, the gold one"

Me "aiya no big deal la. same price as the normal black one"

Him "how much is it? now i don't know to buy psp for ds lite already la"

Me "ds lite la, prettier! I wanna get one when i have enough money lor

Him "But i dunno which one my girlfriend likes"

Me "siao, buy sucha expensive gaming console for girlfriend for what? you sure she is gonna marry you meh? OR you want a blow job from her? "

okay actually the blow job part is false

Him "But she likes it la, what to do?"

Me "..."

sigh, sucha dumb guy, paying 300 bucks to buy for girlfriend and he himself isnt even sure that he and the said girlfriend are gonna last.

If they are together for a super long time (more than 4 years aka my cousin). i can understand since im a guo lai ren. I think everyone needs to be taught a lesson

case 2

I was eating at some food court with my friends, one of them said, "hmmm.... food here quite nice, maybe i can bring cynthia to eat."

cynthia is The Girlfriend

i rolled my eyes and said "for what?"

the said friend gave me a what-do-you-know look and say "duh, i got trainings, works, school, so busy already, once a while bring her to eat some good food, make her feel special what!"

I rolled my eyes and say its not really worth the stupid trouble. and this caused a heated argument (Friend: You never been in love before of course you will say that what!)

they think they know, but they have no idea at all

My argument is that why bother bringing her to some place where they sell good food? anyway, why even bother to be so nice?

its not a crime to be nice, but i feel that make sure that its all worth it. like the gf is super nice to him or something. and they are gonna last.

Case 3

I was at 7-11 with shi ying the other day after dinner at sun plaza, and she was complaining that she is now jobless and dun have much money left. since we don't intend to go anywhere we just walked around in sun plaza.

then we went into 7-11 and i decided to buy some pick and mix (my ALL TIME favourite sweets)
and then shi ying was at the shelf. she happily announce that she saw a packet of jelly beans and Derek likes to eat it.

She doesnt have much money left. i think if she buys the jelly beans for derek, she wouldn't have money for lunch or smth.

I said "aiya, i understand one la, just buy la. make sure derek treats you well lor"

and she bought it.

Now now now... The thing about love and relationship, its a tricky business, too much effort put in, you will definitely be taken for granted (70% of the time), too little effort put in, and the other party will be mad at you for not treating him/her well enough.

love is such a weird thing isnt it? best is not to get it. save the trouble!

take case 1 and 3 for example.

If we have a gf/bf, even if we are left with the last penny we have, and saw something that our gf/bf likes, we will not think too much and probably just buy it.

IF we saw something that we like, and left only a dollar, and the said stuff that we enjoy (say.... mentos? 80 cents at max) we probably will save up the last dollar. and not buy it. If the mentos is for the girl/boyfriend, most of the time we will just buy it.

correct? It shows that we always put our bf/gf as priority. which, honestly i feel, shouldnt be the case

I have a sensible friend called Edison(when i was working in giordano), when i asked him how much is he willing to spend on his girlfriend, he think about it and replied

"at most 50 bucks, i dun believe spending too much on her, afterall i will not be 100% certain we are gonna last la"

I said "hmmmm... not bad, she nice to you or not?"

him "yeah, she's a good girlfriend la"

Then we talked about him and his girlfriend and he said that he is quite lucky because the girlfriend gives in to him most of the time.

they are gonna be 2 years together, wonderful~

Never let someone be your priority while you are just an option to the person. its bound to work (i think)

I shall adopt this mentality, i probably would rather spend all my money on my hamsters, at least hamsters will like me and sniff my hand when i put my hand into the cage. heh heh heh

okay, i know i sound a little harsh here, i dun really mean it. well, i guess i mean what i say, just a little less harsh, like 80% ? im kinda grumpy now
