I used to hate people who are super noisy in Mcdonalds/KFC/Burger King/insert random fast food chain. And I would tend to make as little noise as possible whenever i eat with my friends. cos there would definitely be people studying there. and IF you make noise, its annoying to them right? and they probably will hate you.

Now i would think "fuck it". This isnt a library, instead this is a FAST food restaurant so you shouldnt expect peace so that you can solve 20marks Anova questions on statistic.

If you wanna bring your friends and study here, you should jolly well expect it to be noisy, therefore you should bring along your Ipod and blast it.

Dun expect people to keep quiet, especially when there is a group of girls/ah bengs/ah lians.

I talked to Kelvin that day about porn and the type of girls suitable for porn etc, and I asked him can his future girl friend be a porn star? He said a soild 'no'. Then i asked can his sister be a porn star? He said NO.

THEN i saw light. I realised something: WE ARE ALL FUCKING SELFISH.

not the kiddy way of gei gao over 40 cents... etc.

so if your girlfriend/sister cannot be a porn star, other people's girlfriends/sister can be la! (this statement stands true because we have nothing against porn, other than people who claimed that porn is bad. i think)

Im obsessed with their stuffs now, but its kinda expensive, a pencil sharperner for like wad? $30? thats kinda crazy. But ITS SO nice!

Like pure white! Just like my Ipod. mine is a hideous shade of red, been using it since like wad? 8? or is it 7?

And I showed Mei Qi my pencil case, a gift. and she was like 'wah so pretty'. and proceeded on taking out her post-it notes collection and scribbled down Muji, or smth. and asked me where can is it located etc etc.

I think everyone should just bloody shop at Ikea and Muji. I guess god gave us Muji and Ikea as a reward for letting us going through death and illness. etc.

But isnt ALL their stuffs pretty? but some are indeed overpriced. and EVERYTHING matches with everything! look at the pencil case man!

And a single pentel pen can just ruin this creation of gods. (my favourite brand for pen is pentel, followed by misubitshi)

so you cannot anyhow put stuffs inside, in case it turns out fugly.

Muji, Apple, Ikea can all collaborate together, and surely they will monopolise like 3/4 of the worlds' sales demand. the 1/4 are reserved for fugly people like eng how. what? we need to have something for everyone what!

Okay seriously this is very fucked up. I told my boss in advance, like 2 weeks that i cannot work from 6 to 26 of this month and he was like okay, we will arrange it.

last saturday, which technically is the last day of work, i had a bloody sore eye but felt rather happy because of the whole last day thing. and i took a peek at the work roster and my heart gave a huge sigh.

Im fucking working as per normal!!

and nobody even tell me that! previously i even showed them my timetable (very packed) and now they re planning me to work. like WTF?? i already told u 2 weeks in advance already lor!

then i intend to pretend i didnt see the shifts thing and i intend NOT TO GO to work, if they call me and asked where i am (while im supposed to work), i'll be like "huh, i tot i told u i cant work already?"

BUT yesterday i received a phone call and was told my roster, like what? 29 hours?? thats WAY more than my normal working hours lor.

GOSH i wanna slam the phone so bad. So today i decided to call and cancel one day of work. i dun care, call me spoilt, call me irresponsible. shoot me.

This is a happy thing :)

remember that time i went to cineleisure's apple care centre, wanting to get my ipod photo to be repaired, but those fuckers at the ipod centre refused to repair for me because there is a DENT.

HELLO??? its IPOD we are talking about here, not some plastic made barbie doll. OF course got dent la. like are you stupid of what?

Then this afternoon i brought it to another service centre. and They told me that they dun provide repair service, but instead they provide 1 to 1 exchange stuffs.

which is Brilliant! I get to have a brand new Ipod Photo.

Now i dun have to save up to get Ipod video.

IF everything dun cock up, i should be able to get it like by next wednesday or something.

after that its bookstore time.

I love bookstore (kinokuniya/borders/etc), not popular that kind, to me popular's books are too mainstream (harry potter, tuesday with morrie, the norm)

dun get me wrong, harry potter is one of my favourite books.

I guess the problem with Singaporeans is that they read what Popular asked them to read. like the list of "popular's top 10 best seller" will always remain on the list. Nobody would want to get a book that is not on that shelf.

reason being, its expensive to buy books, scare in the end the book isnt nice to read. truth to be told. a paperback book cost around 16 to 25 bucks. whilst hardcover ranges from 9.90 (like my harry potter and the half blood prince) to like..... 99.99 bucks.

thus Singapore's book market is very conservative.

And can the whole singapore please wake up from that Russel Lee's True Singapore ghost stories? its been like wad? 10 series?

And his facts on legendary monsters (vampires, witchcrafts re not even true). I know that book since god knows when. and it is STILL striving strong. like WHY?

It doesnt trigger people to think. nor entertaining.

okay i take back that sentence because i kept thinking how BULLSHITTY the stories are.

ditto goosebumps/local's true ghost stories.

Im not talking like an expert here who reads widely. but ive got to draw a line on where to stop man!

A trip to kinokuniya on a peaceful afternoon does the trick!

So many books, so little time. I picked up "Why the toast always lands butter side down"

Amazing book, it explains Murphy's law. and why it happens.

I know everyone has different taste when it comes to reading books. but i sincerely recommend this book! and maybe Roald Dahl's collections (my favourite is Matilda)

I also saw a book called "whats your dangerous idea?"

It talks about different famous people (not paris hilton/lindsay lohan kind), like those researchers on psychology. arts etc etc and they talked about their idea.
