Excuse moi, there are god knows how many JCs in Singapore. Some are really easy to get in can? like YJC or SRJC. which you just need 20 points to get it. The best i can get into was NYJC, art stream. with my 13 points for L1R5.
My classmate Maxine got 7 points can??
and btw, ******* told me some guy in his school got into **** , simply because he (the guy, not ******** ) has a filthy rich daddy, who donated like 20 k in 2 times. PLUS the daddy paid for the 2k per month tuition fees can?

I know this girl in Deyi who got into SAJC just because her CCA in Deyi was dance. and she got into SA because of the whole afiliation thingy.

Digressing abit okay? lemme discuss how i got 13 points for my L1R5. (STRICTLY FOR THOSE WHO GOT MORE THAN 20 POINTS)
1st) CCA
It's very important to have a good CCA that lets you earn as many CCA points as possible, if you're in Deyi. i suggest you go join those art performing clubs, but prepare to attend ALL sessions. Choir is good, last time i always pon de, now cannot le, cos its under that SAM LIM.
bear in mind: DUN CARE ABOUT IMAGE.
If you're a guy, dun care what your fellow penis-holder says, join movement and dance/choir/art/band. they may wan you to join NCC/NPCC/BLABBB. I dunno how the CCA system works there. so the safest is to join arts performing club. Deyi is now... ahem... focusing on that le. CCA that is pathetic in Deyi was i think leo club, no offence ar
when i was in Deyi, i was in choir. i took part in NDP, 2 SYF, Concerts and other shits thus i got an A in cca, so if u got an A, u get to minus 2 points off your L1R5.
did i mention i was in PSL so i get extra CCA points?
2nd) your ten years series.
This is also important, if you are too lazy to go and do other ridiculously difficult School papers like RI, RGS, blab blab blab blab. At least do the ten years series la, dun complain pls. 20 points dun grow on tree/fall from sky.
just make sure you can do the questions in 10 years series can le la, since its olevel standard. RGS, RI papers are for... er... people who wanna score less than 10 points. okay la, i admit, i also do their papers (for maths and science)
If you do not have a mathy father (like me) nor a sciency mother (like me also). i recommend u go get the answers booklet for your ten years series, it explains step by step de. VERY VERY VERY GOOD.

3rd) plan your results
If you are a sec 3 student and got a F9(like me) in amaths, dun get too
If you are a sec 4 student and u got a F9 still (its july already, for god's sake), i suggest you stop doing tys and go focus on yr emaths le.
As for amaths, i skipped some hard topic, according to my tutor Vina "some people skip relative velocity and still can get A1" which is v v v true la. er... i dunno how true it is, but confirm is true! cos the teachers in my school never teach their students RV. my class and the top class got nia leh. so it shows how hard RV is.
just make sure u know then rest of the chap very well la. If u rely on simultaneous equation u can go and die.
Science science science. I think Physics definately can improve Over night! cos i got F9 for in prelims and a B3 for Os!!
Chem ar... er... that one u have to see yr karma liao le. its not easy k?
Humanities:
For those who took geography, YOU GUYS ARE THE LUCKY ONE.
cos you just need to do selective studying only, go check the format of your TYS, there should have la, dun be lazzy!! then go get the marie anne cheong book,

social studies, go get the long man one and memorise can le.
for chinese, ho ho ho, memorise shuo ce lor. sure can de. english leh, dun ask me, cos i also dunno how i got my B3, usually i got C6 in tests/exam etc.
one thing you gotta take note, is that ALL subjects are heavily moderated!! i think heaviest are Amaths, emaths. PURE chem PURE physics.
I think my english also moderated de la, or else i wouldnt get a marvellous B3!!
My tutor said that some people can get FULL marks for maths de. those bian tais!!
4)If your daddy is rather rich, but not rich enough to donate 20 K to NYJC, i suggest you put a 50 pound bill into yr paper and then submit it. this may be bribe, but i think its call 'incentives for better results'
BUT i think most cambridge markers are rather rich, so this might not work. so forget it.
5)Fly to cambridge and seduce the old ah peh uncles there. if you are a girl with a neat set of tits. sleep with him. But I think if you fly there and fly back it will cost rather alot PLUS you wun know if the ti ko ah peh got change your results or not. so you can forget it also.
